2025 National Unusual Frida Art Show
Description:
The “Unusual Frida art show” creators are pleased to announce the 5th edition of our event. Relaunching the most colorful, unique and extraordinary art event in Central Florida, the “Unusual Frida” art show will be at “Osceola Arts” from March 1 to April 18, 2025. We are getting bolder and bigger, extending our art show to a nationwide level. Bringing artists from all over the Country will enrich even more our amazing art community.
Unusual Frida Art Show theme:
We invite artists to study the complexity of her personality and how her legacy continues these days, and furthermore how she dealt with her wild mix of identity, loss, joy and sadness.
“Unusual” is out of the ordinary, surprising, odd, exceptional, extraordinary, remarkable, phenomenal, unconventional, unique, unexpected, peculiar and uncommon. We are looking for more than the “traditional Frida” portrait. This art show explores deeper into the immense imagination of the artists, showing Frida in a way you have never seen her before.
Selection process:
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US OR EMAIL US. WE DO NOT ANSWER ANY CORRESPONDENCE FOR THE ART SHOW.
The selection committee is a team of three artists and art professionals. They collectively have a broad range of expertise in art, architect and design. This committee is responsible for selecting the 70 pieces of art for this show and their decision is final.
ONLY artists who are selected will be notified via email on January 15, 2025.
